Members Competitions

Members Competitionslee2

Through the year the club runs a number of competitions. Starting early in the year, normally February to April we run the winter league. This begins with a 9 hole stableford qualify stage followed by a 18 hole stableford final play off. From April onwards we play our annual match play event, this is played over 18 holes and is proving to be very popular. We also run our medal competition throughout the season. These are 9 and 18 hole stroke play competitions. Occasionally our monthly medal competitions are used as qualifiers for region wide events. Finally we wrap up the season with our Club Championship. A 18 hole stableford event. This is normally our last competitive event of the season.

The club will also run a number of charity and social events on which members are encouraged to bring a guest to join in the entertainment. Charity and social events will usually be play in teams of two or four. Playing formats may vary between Betterball, Foursomes, Greensome and even the odd Texas scramble. Please check the Calendar.
