27th September (Best ball 9 holes) Four person teams spread throughout the field – Shotgun Start – £10.00 entry fee per team. Each player on the team plays his or her own golf ball throughout the round, and on each hole the low score – or “best ball” – of the group serves as the team score. For example: On the first hole, Player A gets a 5, B gets a 3, C gets a 4 and D gets a 5 (after handicap adjustment). So the team score for that hole is 3, because the low score of the group was B’s score of 3. Played as a team stroke play.
